Crossing of trunk water pipelines under the existed road junction at the Heydar Aliyev avenue near the “Koroğlu” metro station

 

Regarding the agreement which, signed on 5^th of August 2014 between “AZƏRSU” OJSC and “Real Inşaat” LLC structuring of the underground micro tunnel had been started for replacement of magistral pipeline under the Heydar Aliyev avenue and current crossroads near the “Koroğlu” metro station. Mobilization works started in September of 2014. On the indicated date setting of communication utilities finished at the assigned places and construction of 2 entrance and exit, pits started with the 15 m diameters. Construction of  2 pits with 8-15m depth finished in December of 2015. After finishing of this stage, AVN 2000 Pipe jacking machine placed in pit and drilling works started on 15^th of December 2015. Drilling of 2 units micro-tunnels, length of 210m and with 2540 mm external diameter and setting of reinforced concrete pipes with 2000 mm internal diameter was conducted. Construction works finished on 05^th of February 2016. For these construction works AVN 2000 Pipe jacking machine used widely which, produced by Germany and could fulfill several difficult functions. Daily drilling efficiency of the machine had been (for 8 hours) 10-12m. In application of this equipment, 2 German specialists and 2 local operators worked. Totally for drilling works engineers team which consist of 12 people and drill team with 20 people participated. During the construction process did not occur any obstacle for movement of traffic and nowadays all drilling works finished successfully.

Fulfilled tunnel drilling works hand overed to client “AZƏRSU ” OJSC with high quality. Nowadays this tunnel complex uses properly for intended purposes.
